The five individuals on this short list have established themselves as resources for information, custom content and have also helped to provide exposure for others in their respective communities.

Ridin – @OSFM18Rosters

If you’re like most of us MLB The Show fans, you wait to start your franchise mode each year while a group of hardworking individuals put together the notable Operation Sports Full Minors Roster. That group is led by RidinDwnKingsley. Ridin’s work has improved every year and the rosters seem to be available even sooner.

He and his team’s work have added countless hours of enjoyment to the MLB The Show series for hundreds of thousands of fans in the community. The rosters plug the gaps Sony can’t fill because of a lack of licensing for minor league players. While Sony could never publicly acknowledge Ridin’s work, you can bet they appreciate it. He effectively helps to sell copies of the game every year with his work because fans know it’s going to be there and done with a high level of quality shortly after the annual release.

If you’ve been playing MLB The Show without Ridin’s rosters, you’ve been missing out. Don’t look now, Ridin and his team have taken to creating draft classes for Madden 19:

R4zor – @R4zorbacks

Many sports gamers prefer playing on PC, and that’s usually because of the access to mods. The mods allow gamers to play with all kinds of fantasy rosters, players, environments, etc. One of the most talented modders in the sports gaming community is R4zor.

The Lithuanian hoops fan does most of his work on NBA 2K. He has created everyone from LaMelo Ball to rapper Pusha T.

His artistry with face capturing is the best I’ve seen consistently in the modding community. While he admittedly isn’t a big American football fan, R4zor has begun to broaden his horizons of late. He picked up modding for the newly released Madden 19 on PC, and he’s already making a few dreams come true.

While this isn’t a full NCAA Football mod, simply seeing collegiate fields rendered on today’s consoles is enough to bring a college football gamer to tears.

Community Guru – @CommunityGuru17

At just 14 years old, Vidal Paulino has already established himself as a powerful and influential content aggregator, and social media presence. He started off building the Steph-Curry-centric GloballyCurry30 account. It reached over 30,000 followers and even got the attention of the Golden State Warriors point guard.

CG shifted his attention to gaming and now his own Twitter account is over 12,000 followers as he shares NBA Live, NBA 2K and Madden content with the communicator. While he would like to become an EA Game Changer, CG’s neutrality has allowed him to become a resource for sports gamers.

BiggWest – @BiggWest2k

Exposure in the NBA 2K Pro-Am community is huge. Many of the hardcore players dream of joining the NBA 2K League at some point, and getting on the league’s radar is paramount to many of them. BiggWest, the co-founder of the MyPlayer Basketball Association and founder of the National Pro-Am Exposure group aim to put the best players on the league’s radar.

Recently BiggWest and his team released the Top 100 prospects ahead of Season 2 of the NBA 2K League. Let’s just say the list caused quite the stir. With a new ranking scheduled to be released on the 15th of every month, expect BiggWest and NAPX to remain at the forefront of the NBA 2K eSports conversation.

Agent 00 – @CallMeAgent00

If the NBA 2K community has an equivalent to TMZ, it’s Agent00’s channel. Agent’s Drama Alerts, news stories and willingness to discuss stories that don’t always paint the sports game developer in the best light, have become his staple.

He’s already ascended close to 800,000 subscribers on YouTube with no signs of slowing down. Do you think 2K knows how big of an influence he is in the 2K community? I’d say so, Agent was recently scanned into NBA 2K19 along with a few other notable influencers.

2K has such a large fan base that it has spawned a number of individuals who have found their niche, officially or unofficially associated with the franchise. Agent isn’t just in that number, he has one of the most prominent voices in the community.
