Fortnite has released one of its coolest skins yet ahead of Halloween

Alongside a Quad Launcher, its Disco Domination LTM, Skull Squad gear and an ATV looks equal parts cute and dangerous, Fortnite has rolled out plague doctor skins. 

Pathologic is perhaps the best videogame interpretation of the trade, but I’m all in for Fortnite’s Halloween-inspired slant. Contained within the Grim Medicine Gear pack, expect:

  • Plague Epic Outfit—1,500 V-Bucks.
  • Scourge Epic Outfit—1,500 V-Bucks.
  • Harold’s Wand Rare Pickaxe—800 V-Bucks.
  • Lamplight Rare Glider—800 V-Bucks.

I think plague doctors are cool, therefore I think this is cool. Imagine a modern day bubonic plague, right? And suddenly these second-rate doctors appear, not professionally trained nor experienced physicians, wearing these bizarre costumes. They promise a cure, but really they’re idealistic, opportunistic snake oil salespeople and glorified census workers. Brilliant.
