Friends of story games,

2018 has been an exciting year for us so far. We released our first game, the point & click mystery Unforeseen Incidents. The game has been received very well, with flattering reviews from sites like Rock, Paper, Shotgun or Kotaku. Releasing the game was an incredible experience. Thanks to everyone who supported us, accompanied us on this journey, and to all of you who played the game.

Now it’s time for something new! We are working on a new game called Resort.

Resort is an interactive mystery short story about emotions, introspection, and coping. You will join famous writer Laura Tanner on a surreal journey and face an odd intersection of dreams and reality.

The project is funded by the Film- & Medienstiftung NRW and SpielFabrique. The game will be an explorative, narrative experience focusing on story rather than puzzles.

We’re very early in development, but we want to be very transparent this time and start sharing stuff early on. We will post more concept arts, early drafts of the world and progress on the story, staying spoiler-free, meaning that we’ll share insights into how we approach writing rather than revealing the story. There will be insights into the creation of sounds and music and the implementation of the game.

We’d like to hear your feedback! You can take part in the discussion and the development process by following us on Medium, on Twitter, or joining our Discord server.

We’re looking forward to sharing more about Resort soon and are very happy to be able to make a second game.
