At the Tokyo Game Show in Japan, Bandai Namco announced tons of new information regarding fighting title Jump Force – next year’s massive manga mash up.

Not only did a brand-new trailer drop, but fans saw even more characters added to the already impressive roster and what to expect from the game’s collector’s edition. And we thought last week’s Yugu Muto reveal was the icing on top of the cake!

A press release reads: “BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe has revealed 4 brand new playable characters are joining the battle in JUMP FORCE. Yusuke and Toguro from the fan favourite classic manga Yu Yu Hakusho. In addition to Kirua and Kurapika from Hunter X Hunter.

“Also announced were four brand new and original story characters designed by the one and only legendary manga artist, and creator of DRAGON BALL, Akira Toriyama.” These are Glover (the leader of Jump Force), Navigator, Galena, and Kane.

Death Note‘s Light Yagami and Ryuk will also make an appearance, but only as NPCs in the campaign. This could change, however, as the Season Pass, which was also revealed at the event, is set to offer nine additional characters post launch.

If you want something a little more special than extra in-game content, though, Namco revealed the Jump Force Collector’s Edition – for those who love a good statue. The box includes:

  • A copy of Jump Force
  • Season Pass, which includes 9 additional characters, that are also purchasable separately
  • 30cm exclusive Diorama of Naruto, Luffy and Goku
  • Jump Force Steel Book
  • 3 Art Boards (28x28cm)

As an added bonus, anyone who pre-orders the game will receive three exclusive avatar costumes and lobby vehicle. Not done it? Don’t worry, you’ve still got plenty of time to do so.

Jump Force is set to release in February 2019 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Will you be jumping into the action? Let us know.
