A new Easter Egg has been revealed in Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey that pretty much confirms Splinter Cell to be set in the same universe.
Fans have come across series protagonist Sam Fisher’s iconic Multi-vision goggles in one of the current-time portions of the game. One of the characters even mentions the organization Sam works for by name.
Looks Third Echelon. Or is it fourth?
Sam of course worked for Third Echelon during the earlier games and then the Fourth Echelon during the final game titled Splinter Cell: Blacklist.
This Easter Egg pretty much confirms the Assassin’s Creed series to be in the same universe as the Splinter Cell Games. So far this confirms multiple Ubisoft franchises to be set in the same world which include Ghost Recon, Watch_Dogs, Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell.
The series has been dormant since 2013 despite the fact its one of Ubisoft’s most oldest and notable franchises. Splinter Cell is frequently referred to in other Ubisoft games, like recently in Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
